What do you do at Big Valley Marketing?
My role is to research, analyze, and report on media related to our clients’ and their specific market. Through this process, we can transform quantitative data into actionable insights that support our clients’ overarching goals. Monitoring and analyzing media conversations allows us to track trends and advise on how best to position clients within the conversation.
Why Big Valley Marketing?
I recently graduated from college where I studied both Media Analytics and Strategic Communications. This gave me a foundation to pursue a career in either analytics or public relations, while my past internship experience had fostered an interest in the technology sector. Through a rather stressful post-grad job search I stumbled upon the posting for Big Valley. From my first interview, I knew I aligned with the core values and culture at Big Valley and was excited by the opportunity to contribute to the developing Market Intelligence team. I knew Big Valley’s mission to dig deeper was something I wanted to be a part of.
What’s one thing fun or surprising about you?
Despite living in the south, I typically prefer cold weather over hot. While in college I studied abroad during two winter sessions, once to Argentina, where it was about 75°F in January, and once to France, where the average temperature was 35°F. I preferred France.
