Josh brings a decade of experience in both public policy and public relations. He spent five years in politics, serving in a variety of positions — from the Florida legislature to the U.S. Congress. Since then, Josh has spent five years in public relations building the brands of both small and large technology companies, including: Verizon, IBM, Siemens, Observable Networks, ThoughtWorks, HCL, UL, CyrusOne and PKWARE. Josh has an expertise in cybersecurity and corporate thought leadership. Over the past several years, Josh has developed and executed media strategies for large global events, acquisitions and data breaches, and has worked with companies to expand their traditional and social media programs. He has developed deep relationships with top cybersecurity and business reporters from The New York Times to CNBC. Josh holds a master’s degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, where he wrote his thesis on Policy Solutions to Chinese Cybereconomic Espionage, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Dickinson College.
