Tracy Sciacca

Client Partner
Tracy has more than 20 years of experience leading B2B communications programs for local, national and global organizations that incorporate all aspects of earned, owned and paid storytelling – from influencer and media relations, to content development to orchestrating executive speaking tours and paid social campaigns. Tracy’s specialties include distilling complex and technical topics down into easily understandable stories that map back to organizational business goals, and the mobilizing teams across disciplines and geographies to bring these stories to life. The results of these various client campaign efforts, including targeted content and earned media results, illustrate what she enjoys most: driving connections between organizations and key audiences with integrated communications strategies and tactics backed by interesting stories. Tracy is based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to joining Big Valley Marketing in 2021, she spent the first 19 years of her career at Weber Shandwick. Tracy holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Meet Tracy

What do you do at Big Valley Marketing?
I’m a client partner. In general, this means I work with our clients to make sure we’re helping them meet their communications goals and objectives. I’m essentially a navigator in determining how we can achieve these things, and I’m backed by a team with deep expertise in various disciplines ranging from media and influencer engagement to digital strategy and content development. I know enough about the various disciplines to be dangerous, and I take the client’s needs and work to bring in the right experts to do what we need to do.

Why Big Valley Marketing?
I’ve been in the agency world my entire career and I love getting to work for multiple clients at once—variety has always been important to me, as has getting to work with other really smart communicators. However, after 19 years in the industry, I realized I needed a change, and I found a great home at Big Valley. It’s the right place for me because I can go deep on exclusively B2B tech, and I’m surrounded by others with that same focus. I can focus on interesting client work and not have to get caught up in bureaucracy and hierarchy. Plus, I truly feel valued as a person and recognized for my contributions and what I can bring to the table.

What’s one thing fun or surprising/unexpected about you?
I’ve always enjoyed being active in sports and the arts. I danced and performed with a local studio until I was in my late 20s, and I’ve run 13 marathons. I’ve met some of my best friends through these activities, as well as my husband!
