Meet Andy

What do you do at Big Valley Marketing?
What don’t I do at Big Valley? Sorry, kidding. I am lucky enough to be a part of the Media + Influencer Team where I work with a talented group of…what do we call ourselves these days…practitioners…professionals.

At the most basic level, I do the same thing I’ve done throughout my career – – I develop compelling stories for the appropriate audiences. One of the many reasons why I enjoy Big Valley is the process on developing those compelling stories. My M + I colleagues, along with our Story + Content teammates – many of whom are former reporters –  will conduct ‘story mining’ sessions with our clients, where we find those ‘outside in’ stories to tell.

Why Big Valley Marketing?
Have you met Tim, Katie, Christine, Dave Reddy… never mind on Dave…

Why Big Valley Marketing? Honestly, I wasn’t looking to work at another agency. However, a dear friend of mine – Sergio Rogina – told me about an opportunity and said, ‘these are your people.’ Since I’m never one to doubt Sergio (those who know, know), I reached out and the rest is history. Big Valley is strategic and authentic. Every single person is so damn good at what they do and they care. Every. Single. Person (even Dave). I’ve never seen anything like it. Truly.

What’s one thing fun or surprising/unexpected about you?
The fun, probably not so surprising, thing is I’m a ‘song and dance’ man at heart. Unfortunately for those around me, as Randy Jackson would say, ‘I’m a little pitchy dog’ and I’m rhythm light. One of my greatest joys is singing ‘Piano Man’ in the car with my son, Sam (who is now 23 years old and living in DC) and going to musicals with my daughter Lily (who just turned 20 and would call herself a ‘theater nerd’ – – for Lily’s first trip to NYC, I had the joy of seeing four musicals with her in three days).

Helping technology companies for ten years
to grow, win, and lead through effective,
expert-driven marketing and communications.
