    RSAC 2023: Networking Unleashed

    By Andy Shane | Media + Influencers | Comments are Closed | 28 March, 2023 | 4

With RSA rapidly approaching and the looming specter of COVID lifting, attendance is expected to be back to pre-pandemic levels. Along with the conference itself, many will attend a variety of parties that will be thrown — all in an effort to reconnect with colleagues, meet new people, and unwind. I know Josh Swarz and I are ready for all of the above.

RSA has gone so far as to provide an ‘Unofficial List of RSA Conference and Vendor Parties’ and create a Twitter handle — @RSACParties — to follow. Both are updated regularly.

To date, there are more than 40 parties scheduled. Below are a handful of those that tickled my fancy (Please note these are not endorsements; there may be a cost, you may need to register, and this is not an indication that I will be attending).

    Sunday, April 23

    • 5:30 PM – 8 PM: Cybersecurity Marketing Society’s RSA 2023 Party – Join your fellow cybersecurity marketers at the Cybersecurity Marketing Society’s RSA party at the upscale, renowned, Celebrity-Chef (Kathy Fang) created Fang Restaurant in San Francisco! Just a 4-minute walk from the Moscone, this will be a unique opportunity for cybersecurity marketers to come together, network, and get ready for the big week ahead!
    • 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Welcome to RSAC Networking Event – Join us for a hacking good time and develop relationships with industry experts and peers! Network while enjoying delicious appetizers, decadent desserts, and a beverage (or two) on us, as we kick off an exciting week in San Francisco.

    Monday, April 24

    • 3 PM – 9 PM: RSA Bollywood Party – This is an ideal event to build connections with more than 250 Indo-American security leaders, entrepreneurs and investors who are expected to join the networking night. The event is also set to showcase some amazing cybersecurity innovation coming from companies founded by Indo-American entrepreneurs.
    • 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM: RSA Happy Hour – Enjoy mingling with other cyber professionals after a busy day at RSA!

    Tuesday, April 25

    • 6 PM – 7:30 PM: Taco Tuesday – Let’s taco ‘bout how awesome you are. Salsa on over and join friends and associates as we enjoy the camaraderie of RSAC. This is the event that’s all about fitness…fit’n’ess whole taco in my mouth. And lettuce tell ya: don’t be the one who says “Oh no! Avocado register!”

    Wednesday, April 26

    • 5 PM – 8:30 PM: RSA Networking Cocktail Party – We will bring together a group of CISOs, security leaders, investors, and founders from across North America for an evening of networking, cocktails, and light bites. Our venue is within walking distance from the conference, and we look forward to having you join us as the day’s programming concludes.

    Hope to see you there!
