Arianna Crawford

Senior Social Media Manager
As Senior Social Media Manager, Arianna focuses on Digital + Social Media communications strategy for Big Valley. As the founding member of Big Valley Marketing's Digital + Social practice, she's helped forge our practice foundation, including social media services and strategy. She works closely with B2B and technology clients (including unicorn startups and fortune 500 companies) to translate their business goals into compelling, human-centric social media campaigns and strategies, with a proven track record of long-term success. Her work has included strategizing the social media roll-out of the third-largest tech acquisition in history, coordinating and unveiling a multi-year Formula One sponsorship campaign for a digital experience leader, launching a new subsidiary brand on LinkedIn and Twitter/X to 30,000 followers, and a series of client advisories on social media platform changes and evolution, inlcuding one on TikTok's temporary shut-down. After graduating from Stanford University with a BA in English in 2018, she served full-time as as COO for The Stanford Daily Newspaper; managing the entire business side of a non-profit organization through the pandemic. Arianna is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she lives with her husband and their dog named after Meryl Streep. She loves trying new things, Greek mythology, movie theaters, and listening to Ella Fitzgerald.

Meet Arianna

What do you do?
As Senior Social Media Manager, I help clients strategically cultivate their brand messaging and identity in alignment with their communications goals. To me, it’s much more than emojis, memes, and hashtags.

The core of it is about building authentic communities and connecting people (not employees or customers, but real human people) with the content and resources they care about. Whether it’s leveraging a client’s executive team through a series of LinkedIn articles, building employer reputation with employee testimonial videos, or getting audience opinions on trending industry topics with weekly polls, at the end of the day it’s about helping brands make a meaningful impact through social connection.

Why Big Valley Marketing?
You’ll hear this time and time again from Big Valley folks, but it’s the people and the culture. The work is interesting and exciting, yes, but nothing tops the support I’ve received as an early-career employee. I get to learn everyday from the best in the business while also being treated as an expert in my field. That’s a gift.

What’s one thing fun or surprising/unexpected about you?
I’m on a mission to visit every state in the U.S., and so far, I’ve visited 31! I was mostly inspired to do so after my cross-country move; seeing the red rock vistas in New Mexico and the Ozarks in Arkansas was so inspiring (especially as a hobbyist landscape photographer). We’ll see how my Prius, my husband, and my little adventure dog, Meryl, hold up for the rest!

Helping technology companies for ten years
to grow, win, and lead through effective,
expert-driven marketing and communications.
