As a Media & Influencer Lead at Big Valley Marketing, I help clients convey their story to top media and analysts. I develop cohesive strategies alongside my amazing colleagues specializing in content, social and analytics, to make sure the story we’re telling a cohesive and purposeful story. I love technology storytelling – the geekier the better. And telling those stories in a way that resonates with journalists and their readers.
Why Big Valley Marketing
After nearly 15 years into my marcomm career, I was ready for a change. Much of those 15 years were spent at PR agencies ranging from the small boutique to the large global shop. I told myself, if I make a move, I’m going corporate. Then, one of my all-time favorite colleagues, Dave Reddy, called me up, asking if I was interested in a role at Big Valley. Said the marketing firm was approaching the industry differently. He was right. We’re all specialists – not one of us a generalist. We’re a group of senior consultants who have ‘been there, done that’ and get to do what we love every day.
What’s one thing fun or surprising/unexpected about you?
I have many different sides. No, not like Jekyll and Hyde – more like many interests, some drastically different from others. I grew up dancing and love going to the ballet. I also love to escape to the family goat farm. I love to hike with my husband, Nick. We also love wine country and have a solid wine collection – and apparently a reputation. Instead of a cup of sugar, our neighbors have been known to borrow bottles of wine, from time to time.
