What do you do at Big Valley Marketing?
I work closely with Tim Marklein, our Founder and CEO, to shape the strategy and operations of our business. I also partner with our senior leaders to ensure we consistently deliver business-building marketing and communications results for our clients. I strive to leave everything I do and everything I touch better, and I love to make the complex simple.
I joined Big Valley Marketing in April 2022 after spending more than 25 years working for some of the world’s leading public relations agencies. I’ve spent my entire agency career immersed in technology and building high-impact organizational structures, systems, and processes to advance agency business and client ambitions. I also have extensive experience in organizational development, leadership, and developing high-performing teams and cultures.

Big Valley is a consultancy with a purposeful proposition. I am inspired by our belief that there is a better way to achieve marketing and communications success. Our team takes an “outside-in” approach to understand what challenges and opportunities exist for today’s technology-centric executives. Unlike many agencies, we do not confuse outputs with outcomes. We advocate and agitate. Every day we aspire to bring our team of experts, partners, and clients together to help our clients solve complex issues.
I also admire Tim’s strategic prowess, his talent to sense and interpret competitive shifts, and his passion for advising clients. Tim raises the bar at work, and I love a good challenge.
