Karen Burke

Karen is focused on delivering creative, impactful content for Big Valley clients. For 20+ years, Karen has worked in the technology industry doing corporate communications. She has held both in-house and agency positions doing media & analyst relations, writing contributed articles, company blogs and marketing material, and driving events and speaking programs. While the majority of her work has been in the cybersecurity industry, she has also done public relations for both large- and medium-sized enterprise software companies focused on supply chain, customer support, and telecom services. Karen has also created Customer Advisory Boards and developed training programs for national business investigative reporters so they can utilize threat intelligence in their work on misinformation, fraud and election security. She deeply cares about the user experience and loves working with organizations to create content that can better educate the industry, their customers, press and analysts and others about their value prop, but also advance the discussion in the industry on timely topics and help position their executives as leaders in their given field. Karen lives with her husband, John, in beautiful Monterey, California. While she hasn’t gone whalewatching yet, she loves hiking the near-by trails in Big Sur and walking the area’s beautiful beaches.
